Our Fall Plant Sale is an online preorder sale only! From September 1–25, shop from the comfort of home and choose from a selection of fall favorites, including mums, pansies, autumn ferns, heirloom roses, and other special plants. Our heirloom roses offer a beautiful opportunity to add classic, timeless varieties to your garden, while our other seasonal selections are perfect for refreshing your landscape for fall. Get the roses while they last as quantities are limited!

Select plants can be preordered directly through our website for pickup at Chieftains Museum in October, while additional plants—including our mums—will be available through ServeScape for home delivery or pickup at the museum.

Select plants will be available for preorder and can be found below. Place your order during the sale, then pick up your plants at Chieftains Museum on a date to be announced during the second week of October.

For an even larger selection, shop directly through ServeScape using our exclusive promo code ChieftainsMuseum. You’ll receive 10% off your purchase, and Chieftains Museum will receive a 10% commission on every sale made using our code. Plants can be shipped directly to your home, or you can select delivery to Chieftains Museum for pickup.

Mums will be available exclusively through ServeScape.

Autumn Fern (4")

The autumn fern (Dryopteris erythrosora) is a semi-evergreen perennial native to eastern Asia and Japan. It is prized for its dramatic fronds that emerge coppery-pink or red in spring, mature to glossy green in summer, and display striking red spore dots in autumn.

Light: Partial shade to full shade; protect from hot, direct afternoon sun.

Size: Grows 18 to 24 inches tall and wide (up to 3 feet in optimal conditions).
